Riding Tips
The Crew at Jungle Brother use this section to inform all new and upcoming Mountain Boarders of the safety guidelines that should be followed. Riders must decide for themselves if there equipment is safe to participate in Mountain Boarding / Land Kite Boarding activities. We take no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or injury caused.
Safety Gear (Minimum requirements)
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Knee Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Wrist Guards
Board Maintenance
- Check and tighten any loose hardware on your board before each ride
- Extensive wear on any part should be replaced
- Keep even tire pressure on all four wheels (lower = less speed and more traction, higher = more speed and less traction)
- Keep your equipment clean after every ride.
Choosing terrain
- When mountain boarding start on a hill that has a easy slope and gradually get bigger
- Be aware of all obstacles
- Start on grass till you feel confident in your turning
